I just read about gaining more weight on a second pregnancy that it is normal to gain more weight, cuz u say Ur small it very well could be that ur body or uterus just isn't big enough so it could be part of gaining the weight to make sure there is room.I was very small too when I was first preg didn't gain any weight till i was about 5 months but my midwife at the time said I would have to gain back a Normal body weight before i gained pregnancy weight but to be sure maybe get a doc apt and find out if your not retaining to much water i think its called anemic its something to look into hope all is well

If you started out at 108 lbs then your body is just preparing you for the pregnancy. You need weight to carry your baby. I gained about 10 lbs as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I'm 9 months now and I've gained a total of about 50 lbs. I doubt you'll gain that much but it doesn't hurt to add some to a small frame to help your baby. You'll lose it when it's over.

OK as for dieting i wouldn't diet but eat healthier cut out all those fatty craving or things that really aren't good for you.. eat a lot of vegetables and protein and foods with folic acid such as spinach or anything green really. i gained 80 lbs with my second son and 50 with my first son. some woman even if they are smaller women tend to gain a lot of weight it doesn't mean that anything is wrong per say. i would definitely as the doctor to make sure u don't have high blood pressure or thyroid issues. or diabetes or any of the above listed together. either or welcome to pregnancy your body goes Thur many changes and trust me weight gain that's just the beginning of all The changes your body will go Thur and the hormonal changes wont be right until a year after the baby is born. so get comfortable with the pregnant you. and remember pregnant is beautiful. you should watch a show on i believe discovery health channel if you have it called runway moms. it's all about pregnant women who model and show off those beautiful baby belly's anyways good luck!

You will gain somewhere between 30-40 pounds. I was REALLY skinny when i got preggers. This is one time where you shouldn't feel ashamed of your weight gain. I gained about before i was 12 weeks. I think it was like 13 pounds. So, its alright, your body isjust getting ready to protect a baby and later, when you get closer to birth you'll be gaining weight to produce milk..

Please don't worry how much weight you gain during pregnancy. As long as you have healthy and nutritious diet and do some kind of exercise like walking, you should be fine. Don't worry how much weight you gain, worry after you have your baby how to shed it off. I was also concerned with my weight gain when I was pregnant, I gained almost 35 lbs with my pregnancy and it was pretty much gone 3 months after I had my baby. Good luck!

when i was 12 weeks i had lost 4 kilos. It seems a bit much, BUT every pregnancy is different, if you were only small to start with then you would be putting it on pretty consistently. Dont worry too much about it, it will just stress out the baby, just be healthy and you will be fine

Part of pregnancy is gaining weight...do not ever go on a diet! The baby needs the nutritions all it can get. After you have the baby, you can go onto a diet and start working out.
