When we Leave.

I believe that there will never be a halt on the religious warfare that is going on between the religions, Sunni and Shiite.
If you're talking about War in Iraq involving US soldiers, then it is a different case; It will not end soon if we don't start a demonstration against the US involvement in the Iraq War. If you are old enough (say.. a high school student?), you can do that. Just gather up people who have experience participating in a demonstration before. Gather your friends, teachers, heck, even your family to participate in your demonstartion.

well, it depends on whether the country allows bush to send those 20,000 new troops to Iraq. If he does, more Americans will just be torn from their families and placed in Iraq to fight for bush wanting them to change. More people will kill and be killed and at that rate he wil say " just a thousand more, just two thousand more, just three thousand more, etc..." and it will keep going until some other President understands that this is not right.

If Americans make it clear that if this happens, the war will never end, then all we have to do is pull out our current troops and make some sort of peace with Iraq. so at that point, the war will will end whenever the peole of America do this.

When will you people learn very few people are innocent victims. That includes all countries. You don't like your country then move or do something about it. You choose to stay thats your choice.
Example my country bombs your country. Even though I didnt bomb you myself, I am still at fault because I did nothing to detach myself from it. You think the US government cares if Iraq goes into civil war? Thats the idea you fools. The more they fight themsleves the less the US has to deal with. Why bomb it and ruin what you can get through lives. If they really cared about lives they could easily lock that place down but again it not in their interest. So the answer really is there has been no official declaration of war. Then you would have to define what constitutes war. This question is to generalized to answer effectiviely.

The war in Iraq will never end. The problem with Democrats, Republicans and Independents is they have no clue about their enemy. They think they are just like the American people. This is so wrong. They have fought each other for thousands of years. How are we supposed to stop their true nature, they are Muslims. You know the religion of peace and love.

It's not going to end unless US leaves Iraq. Once it leaves, it will become like Afganistan. Someone commented to 'bomb the hell out of'. He should be ashamed of making those comments. and it's a sign of pure arrogance. Bomb the hell out of Iraq for what?. Just to win the war or to justify the lies of Bush (hence US). You went to war to teach a lesson to Saddam. But you couldn't prove what you told in spite of staying there for 5 years. What did you achieve?. You took the lives of thousands of poor innocent civilians.

May be sometime in future, I hope Bush will have the same fate as of Saddam for taking the lives of many innocents for a reason that he can't 'explain'.

yeah..yeah.. yeah... I know.. vote me down..

Until Bush no longer is in his presidency and some other president stops the war.

Shortly after the next president is sworn in. GWB is way too dumb and stubborn to end it.

Our country thanks to leadership of GWB will be in Iraq longer than we wanted to be. Bush has given to us our 21st. century Vietnam.
