If so, what kind of things would they say to do this to you?

Actually there is one and truth be known he doesnt say a damn thing. He has autism. He is my nephew. He is almost 4 and if anyone knows how to push them.
He does things like comes and takes things from me and runs off like a bandit. He seems to have an intrinsic radar as to what days these types of things will grate my nerves the most.
In the same aspect his radar is great at detecting the days when I just want a hug and need to sit and chill for a while, because he has many of those moments too where he just comes in hugs me and he climbs on the couch and just chill out together.
So while he pushes my buttons on some days...( a couple of weeks ago he wanted to battle it out over a pen...yes a pen) other days he is just totally awesome and makes the bad days a distant memory pretty quickly.

I have a couple of people that know how to push my buttons. I believe they do this just to keep me on my toes. What they say or do depends on me and how my day is going. So maybe they really aren't trying it just seems to be right time right place or in my case wrong time wrong place, glass half empty or half full?

The person that push my button all time is my father...
He knows how to makes me cry,or angry or happy also...
He do part of me all this feelings ....
And when I fight wiht him I can't aford it,never and I escape from that area and go out....just out....
I am very emotional and this is so much painful for me sometimes.....and the only thing that I need when I am like that is love....
Have a nice day....

Pushing someone's buttons for the sake of making someone else upset is sociopathic behavior and see a shrink

Well, I hate to be mocked, criticized and put down. Things like your dumb, ugly, not a real woman and I can do better than you. Be the better person and compliment them on something they say or do. Use reverse psychology on them. It works trust me I do all the time. It will make them think about what they are doing. Which is selfish and not cool. What goes around comes around.

Yes. He is passive-agressive, which means that instead of just having it out with me about an issue he's having with me, which I can handle, he'll "forget" do something he's supposed to, or be late when we have somewhere to be...stuff like that. He's normally a very kind, even tempered man, so when he starts doing things like that, I know something's on his mind and I'm the one who has to "drag" it out of him. Then the argument starts which he wanted in the first place, and then tells me that if I didn't want to fight, I shouldn't have brought it up.....ARGH!!!

yeah, there have been several back in high school anyway. They would say any random thing to me that was insulting to me in one way or another and I would respond defensively. Now that I'm out of high school I've learned that it isn't necessary to give these people any ounce of your concern!

YOU ALWAYS WANT TO LIVE FAR ENOUGH AWAY SO THEY CANT REACH THE BUTTONS. THEY WOULD SAY " I THINK IT MIGHT BE NICE IF YOU DID THIS OR THAT OR ANYTHING BUT THE WAY YOUR DOING IT. " ONE OF MY SONS AND HIS WIFE AND KIDS THINK CHRIST IS COMING BACK SOON AND I TOLD THEM " HE ISNT ! COMING BACK AT ALL " SO THAT WENT OVER LIKE A FLOCK OF BRASS GEESE.
