I agree with what everyone else has said.

But I would also add, try to relax and don't worry too much. It is normal to feel pain after this procedure. You should definitely speak to your doctor if you are worried. But the fact that you are in pain does not necessarily mean that anything is wrong.

Same with the cysts. I have had cysts on my ovaries before (as a result of donating eggs.) They went away and didn't cause any damage. Also my mum has had cysts on her ovaries as well that weren't harmful.

Of course, some are. But all I'm saying is don't worry until you know for sure.

Good luck!

I just had this procedure done last week and I hurt really bad afterward. If you are worried about the pain, go ahead and call the doctors number. There should be a nurse on call, or answering service for the doctor. They should be able to help with any concerns you may have. Good luck, and feel better.

I went through the same thing, except I kept getting them more frequent until I opted to have a hysterectomy. Cysts are very common though. Taken the maximum dose of Ibuprophen that you can and you should feel a lot better. If it becomes unbearable contact your gyno. They may can give you something stronger.

Take some ibuprofen and relax with a heating pad on your stomach. Then do some internet research on ovarian cysts. Good luck!

Some good places to start....

they should have give you something for the pain...try some heat on your pelvis, aspirin, motrin, MIdol (for cramps).
They can take the cysts off or you can live with'em....(unles they break) I've lived with mine for 37 yrs....it's not alway fun, but you know they're there...
