Everybody is different. There is no way you can tell if she is going to experience pain (or pleasure for that matter) or not the first time.

It does hurt and the first time is absolutely no fun. It doesn't feel good and there is pain, and it takes many times before it starts to ever feel good.

If your friend is asking this question, she's too young to have sex.
And, yes, it does hurt the first time. It hurts less the older you are and if the guy cares about you.

the first time it hurts and is uncomfortable, but if you really love the guy it is really special, take it real slow
