USA helicopters are called APACHE, named after a First Nations tribe in the Eastern US. One of the USA missiles is named Tomahock - named after a First Nations tool and weapon of war.

Do you think it is acceptable to adopt First Nations words this way?

Yes, i guess.

I mean, I hope that other people with more noble intensions adopt first nation names for those too.

No it's not. Absolutely not. Just another way to make us associate Firts Nationers (what is the correct term?) with war, violence and to dehumanize them. That way the gov can pass more laws and take more away (taxing gambling profits on reservations) without a public uproar. Sure, we'll claim their names when we want to look tough all the while screwing them over.
