Anyone else notice how no democrat or black person said anything about Biden's comments about Obama being clean, yet when Bush said Obama was articulate and a great speaker he was blasted as a racist by the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, and Al Sharpton? Does anyone else see this as a double-standard? Are both statements equal, or did both men misspeak?

It's obvious that there is a double standard.
The democrats are duplicitous and that is obvious as well.
Frankly I am sick of all this political BS.
I just watched Bush's statement there was not anything wrong with what he said.
Biden on the other hand was obviously racist.
Also I'm so sick the politically correct BS give me a break since when can't people speak their mind, oh they can FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
Oh Obama is articulate and a great speaker I must be racist.PLZ
Evidently according to the PC crowd you can't talk about anyone so everyone just keep your mouth shut and there will never be any problems.

Until you have experienced discrimination because of the color of your skin or your nationality, you don't know what racism is. Yes, I am a white American. YES, I have experienced discrimination because of my nationality. I lived in Europe while in college and found that if I took a taxi with my British friends it cost more if I told the driver where we were going than if my friends did. Just because of my accent. I was also spit on (literally) and assaulted (literally) by people protesting our presence in Kosovo and called a baby killer and other names which cannot be posted here, JUST BECAUSE OF MY NATIONALITY. I am a white, Christian, American and YES, I know what racism is. I have experienced it first hand. Since my return to America, I am much more aware of my own actions and how I treat others who are different from me. As I think we all should be. I know that I would have never even had the slightest inkling of an idea if I had not lived in Europe for the 2 years that I was there and experienced what I did. And I thank those people who were discriminatory towards me for my partial understanding of what some people experience every day of their lives.

Biden has been widely condemned on talk shows. In fact, most people think he killed his chances to be president with that remark.

Bush was not considered a racist before he sat by while thousands of black people died in New Orleans.

I doubt though that Bush is a racist. I think he may be a snob though. If you are not a rich Christian, you are nothing in his eyes.

Bush isn't considered a racist and Biden isn't considered the "white" M.L.K.
Don't try to simplify and generalize these things. It doesn't accomplish anything.
Politics is a "dirty business" , don't accept everything you read.

Because Bush is the leader of the racist party, the GOP, the party of war, polluters, oil companies, discrimination, hate, fear, war, greed, religious judgment, religious laws and persecution.

Joe Biden is a leading member of the party that represents peace, love, harmony, civil rights, equal rights, environmental protection, equal protection under the law, separation of church and state, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom from unlawful searches and seizures, etc., etc.

The DEMOCRATIC Party.

The party that STILL believes in DEFENDING the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

See the difference?

Do you really think Biden is considered MLK? I mean cmon thats being a little over dramatic. Your overall sentiment is correct though. Repubs get hit harder on race issues.

Everyone was talking about the "clean" remark. It was in the news and on Liberal and Conservative talk radio. Your question has no merit.
