I just recent shaved my womanly space, not all of it just a trim and now it is itching like crazy. The razor was new but I did use soap. Any how I can do nothing without feeling extremely yucky because it is so uncomfortable. Is there a cream or something I use for some instant relief?

This is a problem I have too. I get red bumps that last longer than the shave! And then last week I had a hair that was ingrown and that really hurt.
I hate shaving and am saving up for laser hair removal. That, I think is the only real solution when you have unwanted hair that grows fast and sensitive skin.
Sometimes I use a gel made for the bikini area to deal with the bumps but it doesn't work great. Powder also helps, after you are completely dry.

I wish I did have an answer, I have the same problem. And I use shave gel! I have used over the counter stuff for the bikini area to prevent razor burn, but it didn't work. I have come to the realization that the only way I can beat the itch (and the little red bumps from the ingrown hairs) is to wax. I am NOT that brave yet! I hope someone will give you a great sure fire answer!

Good luck!

just let it grow back out. then try again with shave cream. at first it will be itchy when you do it. for a few times after that too maybe. but after a while you will get used to it and it wont itch anymore. i have no hair down there and when i started shaving back in the day it did itch at first but now it doesnt at all. you can also have it waxed and it wont be as bad but it will be painful.

Yes, since it was a new razor I would say maybe it was the soap.

Also, don't put deordant on immediately. I use aloe vera gel or tea tree oil after I shave.

Shave with conditioner instead of soap or shaving cream, you know like you use on your hair on your head... cream rinse.

I think witch hazel is good for this. You can find it at any drug store.
