the shifter in the monte carlo i really like that shifter style thanks...please tell me what that shifter is like what style

I want to say Hurst ..it sounds right but I doubt it...hell of a sleeper, though...early 70's Monte with alot of horses and torque...I wonder what was under the hood...they made a updated "Cars of the Fast & the Furious " book with specs in it...goggle for the info..you'll find it.
