I don't like brands, but prefer private jewellers. If you want something in the same league as Cartier then Tiffany for sure. You are only paying for a name. Plenty of private jewellers have many designs and stone selctions and your money will go further ( meaning, you will get a larger stone)

DE BEERS is very good, but expensive. worth it though, all of the jewelry there are so gorgeous!!
Tiffany&Co. is cheaper and their stuff are more conventional so whatever you prefer.

The name of the jeweler does not make the diamond or gold
any better....only more expensive...
