It has many forms I suppose, but generally it means to be easily affected by conditions, either inside or outside. I mean, it is neither a positive attribute nor negative. For example, "God" is in tune with everything, so would be considered ultimately sensitive. Being sensitive is just a sign that you are particularly in-tune to something. Emotionally sensitive is sometimes considered by others weak, but it is not necessarily true, just that something in the past has trained u to be in-tune with certain experiences

Being sensitive can mean that you are easily upset--your feelings are hurt easily. Things may bother you more than they do most of your friends. Some sensitive people are also easily offended, and may not take a joke as a joke.
