I have studied all the major religions and I can honestly say the only real difference is semantics. Its more of an "i say tomato, you say tomatoe" thing than anything.
Everybody is saying the same thing, but arguing over how to say it. Most say there is one god, and their god is it. However, if you really read the other scriptures they are describing the same god! Even the religions with multiple gods are essentially teh same. The only difference is they divide their "powers" or deities into different people, and the others group them all into one.
If people would take the time to read, or ask an unbiased question every now and then the world would be so much better.
But instead they split hairs over nothing.

No.

That said, I personally do aim to learn about them all.

That is my path. My religion is one that takes the best from all, as i choose. I find the tao everywhere.

Obviously there is commonality but there are huge differences. The commonality is often in terms of encouraging adherents to be "good citizens", treat people honestly and to work hard, etc.

Differences:
1) Some religions have a concept of a "supernatural" God(s).
2) Some religions are "absolutely"; i.e., that believe in an absolute right or wrong.
3) Other religions have Gods that are inherent in nature; i.e, the concept of the supernatural is alien.
4) Some religons don't quite have the concept of God at all.
5) Some have afterlife. Some have reincarnation. Some have neither.
6) Some worship spirtits or ancestors.
7) Some have rituals and some dont'.
8) Some religions have rigorous adherence requirements and some don't. For example a very strong concept of blasphemy and associated punishment.
9) Some have fears/prohitions such as what one can wear, how to be buried, etc.

That are not really all paths to the same goal but we are inherenty spiritual creatures so they have some commonality.

That's a nice thought.

Religion has been a dividing factor throughout history and even now. There will always be religious conservatives (in any religion), and they always have negative opinions of other religions. Such is Human nature. The people who should lead us to peace, avoid it.
