Jennifer Hudson deserved it. She has an amazing voice and a talent for acting. For her first movie role, she nailed it because she has a great performance, made her character believable, and has a powerful screen presence. She made the movie. Beyonce acting isn't nothing special or memorable, she acts the same in every movie she played in and should be happy to be nominated. I agree with Trisha, Beyonce is overrated and hype up because of her looks and the fact that is is light skinned.

I have seen dream girls and Beyonce really didnt act. It was kind of like she was playing herself you know? I mean I haven't seen all of her moveies, but it just seems that the characters i have seen her play is just like her. Jennifer Hudson, though, did so good. I felt everything she was feeling. I am so happy for her.

I think she deserves it. Her acting skills are much better than Beyonce's. Her performance in Dreamgirls was amazing.

i think she did a great performance in Dreamgirls. Beyonce should be glad to be nominated, she didn't even got that many parts/lines in the movie.
