Such as "Internet Explorer has encounted a problem with an add on and needs to close". I seem to be having lots of problems with explorer, should I download Firefox?. Is this much better? can anyone tell me?. Thanks!.

Go to WindowsUpdate icon on the computer and update the browser to latest. You might have an outdated browser.
Internet Explorer has ActiveX which allows an exchange between computers. You need that to upgrade, and to keep your Antivirus current, and so on. So you can never really drop InternetExp
FirefoxMozilla doenst use ActiveX , thus its safer because even if you have a virus or trogan in your computer, it will lay dormant because those varmits require ActiveX.
I dont like Firefox, It doenst work as well with Windows software.

is a mercedes better than a kia whaterver? firefox, opera, or slimbrowser. any of them is better than iexplorer anytime anywhere!

same here n i m using firefox...........but this is not the case with everyone...........rather every system/PC
