I don't believe the president is racist and there are no accusations in my question. My second sentence was a joke...could you miss the mark any more than you did, doubt it. Be smarter Mr. M

Apparently this has now become the new "n" word. Seems if you're white you can not compliment an AA without the freakishly-hyper-sensitive to look for a 'hidden' meaning. When will "handsome", "beautiful" or "intelligent" become offensive? Let's look at this realistically:

Obama=Articulate
President Bush=Not so much
Bill Clinton=Articulate
Snoop-Dog=Not so much

Not a huge fan of any of the above, but you know what? I think the descriptions are accurate.

The race card is so tiring. Barak Obama IS articulate. Ever notice how some long-time politicians talk in circles and you have no clue what their point is?

This was taken from Biden's "clean and articulate" foot-in-mouth speech.
Who the hell ever knows what Biden's talking about - let alone his intent in what he is mumbling.

Which is it then?

Was Bush saying he was articulate for a black man?

Or was Bush saying he was articulat for a Democrat?

If you're going to troll and make dumb accusations like that, at least make up your mind between referring to Bush as a racist or a partisan politician.

In my opinion, he was giving respect to Obama. Let's see if anyone on the Democrat side gives the same kind of polite gesture.

//yeah, right

Articulate is a word some whites reserved for black people who they think is unexpectedly bright.

It is no longer complimentary and it pisses me off no hell!

White respondents do not know the sublety of racism. They will answer based on their experience. I get called articulate so much that by this time I know what it really means.

Democratic Senator Biden said Obama was articulate.
President Bush didn't say that.
