I am 15, and I just started dating this girl and Valentine's Day is coming up and I don't know what to get her! I know that girls like diamonds and stuff like that, but I can't afford anything that will cost thousands, but I have been saving up my money, but still won't have enough money for diamonds. I only have $150 right now, but I can save up more.

I want to get her something that will make her happy so she knows that I really like her and I don't want her to think I just bought something for the sake of it. I assume that girls get fed up of chocolate and flowers, so do you have any unique ideas?

I am a 36 year old woman who has had many relationships. I never got diamonds or expensive gifts for Valentines Day or any birthday. In fact, the only thing I asked for from my boyfriend(now ex boyfriend) for my birthday was a card. AT LEAST a card. I didn't get the card. I got the 2nd season of Lost on DVD, which was great, but I really really wanted a card that told me how much he cared about me. I could have bought my own DVDs.
You are young and in a new relationship. Don't go overboard. Buy her a nice sweet card, maybe something blank that you can write your own thoughts and feelings in. It is something that can be kept forever. Flowers will die. You can still get her a flower or two, or chocolate, or a stuffed animal, but don't skimp on the card. Make sure you write your own special thing in it to her so she knows that she is worth more than a prewritten card that you only signed. Writing it yourself will tell her that you mean and feel the words she reads. It could be special to her for the rest of her life. Also if you are like alot of guys that wait until the last minute to shop, chances are there will still be blank cards available. But don't wait to figure out what you want to write. Do that first on a blank sheet of paper. Make lots of corrections. Have someone help you. Good luck.

Girls never tire of flowers!

A single red rose tied with a pretty ribbon and a card, special delivery to her door is the most romantic thing that a girl could receive.

As a man, a woman one did that for me and i thought it the single most wonderful expression I can recall any woman doing for a manshe had only known for a few months
Don't spend big bucks on her either, women prefer the thought rathere than what appears to be someone buying their affection with expensive gifts.

it always doesnt have to be a gift, how about a secret love plan?????

have you ever seen those plastic love hand-cuffs at CVS or something? YOu could put them on you and your boy/girl friend at night, to represent that you will aways be together.

How about a home-made HUGE valentine love card? YOu could buy 2 posterboards, tape them together, and buy millions of doo-dads and other decorations on it. Them write a beautiful love poem to your beloved one, like those said above.

Nothing better than a musical rose. you can use a real or fake rose. buy a mini recorder(the small inexpensive kinds), record a love song or something else, and tape it to the stem of the rose. you can try hiding it with ribbons.

To finish it, you can get her what comes from the heart, compliments, kisses, hugs, anything you know that your loved one loves

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!!!

NO!!! Don't spend $150 on a girl you just started dating! That's a total turn-off -- very creepy and embarrassing! Take her to dinner and a movie, or buy her something like an itunes gift card or some bling for her cellphone.

You shouldn't spend much on a girl you just started dating. Spending time with her talking and asking her things so you get to know her are good ways of letting her know you like her. Try to take her somewhere for dinner that you think she'll enjoy. Or an inexpensive piece of jewelry would be nice. She could keep that and always think of you.

Get her some cheap Wal-mart jewlery, DO NOT spend $150!!! You are only 15 and dont need to spend that kind of money on a girl.

Get her a very nice card. Then get her some type of stuffed animal that has a cute sentiment of the way you feel about her. At 15, you don't have to spend more than $25.

im also 15 and what i would like my bf to do that doesn cost a lot of money is to make me a dinner like at his house or something with candles and things and just make it romantic, play soothing music and stuff and maybe some flowers on the table and just get something small, like a teddy bear or something or if you felt like it like a ring or some kind of jewelry, maybe also play a movie at your house that would be so sweet

i do no longer think of it relatively is cliche in any respect!! Why do it the day after valentines day.. which would be extraordinary. I say take her out on valentines day and make her experience specific and then ask her out.

spending that much on a girl you just started dating isnt necassary. it would probally be awkward for her. get something thoughtful, not expensive. seems cheesy, but put together a package. like a stuffed animal (get her favorite) sprayed with your cologne, a cd of songs that remind you of her, a flower, and top it of with a simple note. cute, creative, but not crazy.
