It'd help that you mention you're talking about Animal Crossing, or else you will confuse everyone else.

The best way to make money is the stalk market, but the most reliable cash comes from fruit harvesting. Get foreign fruit by sending your native fruit to villagers in the mail (with a well written letter). Then, plant those fruits; when the tree matures, shake the fruits off and sell them for 500 bells apiece to Tom Nook. Or even better, use these newly shaken fruits to plant more trees, and start an orchard. Every full inventory load of fruit earns a 7.5k worth of bells.

This works in AC:WW, I dunno about AC:GC.

If you're playing Animal Crossing for Game cube go to www.gamefaqs.com, select Game cube on the top list then go to A and look up Animal Crossing then select the codes option on the right. There you can find a code for anything that exists in the game from 30,000 bells to exotic furniture. If you're playing the DS version, then send every one in your town the town fruit. What happens is some of the villagers will send you different fruit that will sell for 500 bells. After you start to get fruit, plant it every where. When you have a nice crop going pick a day that your free and spend like an hour picking and selling fruit. after about a month of doing this you should be able to pay off your mortgage and then some. If you have any other just go to gamefaqs.com they pretty much know every thing. By the way spell it exactly like I did or you'll be taken to some weird web sites

Just talk to animals and do favors for them. You can sell what they give you to Nook, or they might give you money. You can also go fishing or shake fruit trees and sell the fruit that comes out. Sometimes money falls out of normal trees. I am assuming you are a beginner with this game, but if not, I'm sorry for boring you with stuff you already know.
