Can someone please send me 2 a website or fully and simply explain how to make the barrel in lanyard crafting?

Question

I know how to only do the chinese staircase, the cobra and the box but I really want to know how to do the barrel. I know it needs 6 laces and i have that. Im not into the whole using of that hook thing they always seem to be talking about
when they speak of lanyard. I know this isn't very relevant but i have the colors red, white and pink colored laces and I thought that it might be a nice valentines day gift if I can start and finish the barrel, even though sometimes I dont think of valentines day as a REAL holiday.
If they are any other lanyard information you can tell me about is alos very helpful. Im alos interested in oragami. I know how to make the crane and the........yeah, thats it. i know how to only make the crane. If there are any websites on oragami that are good please share. I appreciate everything and I thank you all in advance.
