I need some good books to read for school. Books that are intersting like things about phenomenons or some good novels. Keep in mind that I'm a high school student and I'm a good reader for my age.
Thanks.

What about The Lovely Bones, by Alice Sebold? It's written from the perspective of a 14 year old murder victim.

If you like the fantasy/vampire type stuff and you haven't read Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer, you might give that one a try.

Check out "Angelhair" by Joseph Noga. It's a thriller. You can get a free read of the story on the authors website www.joenoga.com If you like the book pass the word around for others to enjoy too.

My favorite author is John Irving. He wrote The World According to Garp and The Cider House Rules. I love A Widow For One Year.

I began reading the Life of Pi but found I couldn't finish it. It's a fantastic story of survival though and strongly recommend it. Also "My Sister's Keeper" and "The Tenth Circle" are books I recently read, both by the same author. [Jodi Picoult].

The series of Uglies; Pretties;Specials. [All different books] are also REALLY good. They're the best especially on how Uglies start out. Technology is amazing. =]
