I have the 2nd generation 4GB red limited edition iPod nano, and I love it! It's very durable, and I'm not easy on my stuff. I destroy cd's very quickly, my cd-players don't last long, etc. But so far the iPod Nano has lived up to my expectations, even surpassed them!

They no longer make ipod minis, ipod nano is better you get a color screen where as the ipod mini is not. Also there are more accessories for the nano now.

In case you're wondering...
iPod mini has a black-and-white screen, can only play music, is thicker and bigger, has a shorter battery life.
Now, the iPod nano has a colour screen, play music AND display photos, is slimmer and smaller, and has a bigger battery life.
In conclusion, the iPod nano is definitely better.
(However, in my opinion, the Zen V Plus has a 262k colour screen, 5x the colour, play music, photos and VIDEO, is much smaller than the nano (with the same screen size), has radio, FM, voice, and line-in recording, and can even in your mouth. OK, the last one's gross, but, please, do yourself a favour.)
