There's 3 input jacks so I'm not use to it. I just bought it and I don't want to screw it up already so I'm trying to find the right way to connect it before I use it.

I own one, just put your guitar into the input and connect your amp to the output. The direct out would more than likely be used for other effects or for things like sonic maximizers that are on your rack.

Well there is a few ways.

Plug your guitar IN to the INPUT
then when you put a plug into the output remember it like this
The Patch chord is coming OUT of the out put and back INto the amp.

Sometimes it might say send and return:

If you have an Effects loop it would sound cleaner if you plug it into the effects loop
If the return says Input=send or Output=return

When putting a chord into the send of the amp ...make sure the same plug gos into your effect box Output.
And the other holes the opposite.
Its always input to output
and then Output to input

If you go Input to input and or output to output there won't be any effect at all
This won't hurt anything.
If your effect runs on batteries always at least leave the chord unplugged from the input on your effect so it doesn't drain the juice from the battery
