Lets try a little experiment.
1. Create a myspace acount.
2. Make up a name
3. Make up a place you live (make sure u pick a different state)
4. Notice how myspace could but does not check that your IP does not match the place you live
5. Talk to ppl and trick them into thinking u live where u said u do and have some fun
6. Notice how you can talk to whoever and lie and have as much fun as you want
7. Think of all the ppl u dont know who could be lyeing to you also
8. Realize how dumb myspace is and go read wikipedia
You can be anything you want on myspace!!! its a magical land where dreams come true!! yay astronauts!!!!

in fact, look up a celebrity and you will find a myspace page run by some fan somewhere, no one has to say anything true. Just like everywhere else on the internet.

Essentially, if it isn't libelous or otherwise criminal, they can say anything they want to. That picture might not really be what they look like. "Caveat emptor."
