Blue Screen of Death...Well to be honest with you those occur when something is wrong with your computer hardware or software. Most Commonly Viruses corrupting system files.

Boot to Recovery Console off your Windows Operating System disc (Windows XP Home disc)
You can do this by pressing R when windows setup finishes loading.

Then it will load to a black screen and ask for your administrator password.

after entering your password
type: chkdsk /r
allow it to check after its done type: fixboot

select Y to right new boot sector
after that type: exit
while your computer reboots remove windows disc from drive.

This Might help depending on which issue you have. Note: This will not work with a recovery disc.

If that does not work: Backup ... Format ... Reinstall

It would be helpful if you posted your question with the error information. You can get the error information by choosing Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, then click on Application in the upper left corner of the Event Viewer window. On the right side of that window, it will list events. Scroll down until you find the one with the red X. Double click on it and it will give you the error message under Description. Once you get that info, repost your question with that information.

Blue Screen of Death(BSOD) is usually caused by a hardware issue. If you computer came with some diagnostics I would try running them on the memory and hard drive. There are too many unknowns to give a reasonable answer to this question. Talk to whom ever you purchased it from if it is still under warranty.

It seems that your computer operating system ( Windows XP ) is crashing all the times with an "error memory dump....." something in white characters. Either you need to reinstall your computer with Windows XP or you may alternatively try to boot your computer in Safemode (at the start of your computer, when it is in black screen just after the beep, keep pressing F8 function key). Once booted in safe mode reboot again in normal mode.

it would be very helpful knowing what the error was. It was on the "blue screen of death". It could be hardware or software. The error would say which (or what) it was.

This could be anything from two programs conflicting, to your cooling fan not working right and shutting your hard drive down. Its very hard to know what it is, if you don't know for sure. Take it to a pro.

If you have like Spyware and stuff on your computer run those tests and things like that to check for possible viruses and if that doesn't work you may just have to reboot your computer

check the cnnection of your monitor to your computer, the connection might be loose... or check your AGP card (if you're not using build-in) if it loose to the AGP slot. last if still fails, i think it's time to buy a new monitor
