Since its turned cold(below 10 degrees) My car has been making a noise. Its a 2007 Cobalt, 1200 miles. When I hit a bump its making a sound that almost sounds like a scraping or grinding sound under the front left side. Otherwise the car drives great. No steering, braking, or starting problems. Could it be just the cold, or maybe something more serious? Any help would be appriciated.

i own a repair shop, and i think its just a cold weather issue with it,they have a boot that covers the strut, and when it gets cold enough the plastic gets real stiff, and this could cause this,id see if it gets any worse, and if it does you can take it in to the dealer and they can check or repair it,id say it will go away though as the weather warms back up,good luck,i hope this help,s.
