Depending on the state in which you live, you may be able to work anywhere that will hire you (with parental consent to work). Usually the hours you can work are limited. The next question is where you should work. Movie theatres are fun and sometimes you get free entry into the shows or can go up into the projection rooms. You can also make money selling newspapers, hand-made crafts, etc. If you go to your local city offices to find out about legally working they will usually have referrals for businesses that are looking for young workers. If you aren't interested in making money and want to work for the experience, you can always volunteer at the library, humane society, and some hospitals or taking care of special needs children. Good luck!
