My period was always light before I took it and when I went on it it was much redder and heavier like a "normal" period that I hear about. I'm 2 months off of it and now its browner and lighter. It is still pretty regular though with timing. Why is this/ anyone else experience it?

Same here! I used to only have a slightly "heavy" day the first day. But now since I've been on bc pills it's made me have heavy bleeding for like 3 days straight. Much more than naturally. AND now I get it every 28 days ya know from the pills..when naturally for me I'd get it like ever 39 days. It's annoying yes..buuut I'd rather not be pregnant

1. depends what type of birth control you were on.
2. your period will be wacky for about 3-6 months after the bc if you were on it for a long time.
3. i was the same way on the pill. with an iud i don't even bleed!

Try a different brand one that suits you better. Your bodily will react slightly different then another women would to the same pill, thats why you have so many options. As long as its not a foul smell i would say its normal what you are experience, if you are worried go to your MD and get checked and try another brand
