If the donor is dead anyway, then yes, however it is neccessary to cook well.
I would suggest cutting into say 1" cubes, flash frying to brown all over and then putting in a slow cooker for about 12hours, but reduce this time if the body has been "hanging around" a bit.
It may be a good idea to "spice" it up with curry as the taste can be a bit bland.

uh yea duh. it would be instinct to try to survive by any means necessary.
Later:
Are you people serious!!! That is so ridiculous! You're telling me you would starve do death instead of resorting to cannibalism in order to save your own damn life!! Please! People have been this position before...remember the plane crash where people had to eat the dead passengers in order to live! It is in our nature to do whatever is in our power to survive. If cannibalism is the only way...then that's the way we would have to go. And for the people who are like "I'll eat grass or bugs first..."---That was NOT a part of the damn question. THANK YOU

definitely! I often have friends for dinner. (provided they don't disagree with me)
There is extensive evidence of cannibalism amongst our hominid ancestors (butcher-type tool marks on the bones) The practice probably helped homo neanderthalis survive through the winter- why waste all that good protein?
Up until modern times tribes practiced ritual cannibalism as a way of subsuming their members back into themselves, ensuring that part of them lived on.
Eating brains can be risky though and the racial memory of the prion-related disease has probably given rise to the taboo.
Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall famously cooked a placenta and served it to the woman's family as pate. ('Friends for Dinner')
Btw why do we not share the same revulsion for heart, lung, liver or kidney transplants? (Cannibalisation of spare parts??)

We never know until we are put into such a situation.I really, truly hope that I never have to find out!
I read a book about the people who survived the 1973 plane crash in the Andes mountains, and some did cannibalise, and later wrote that the mind is completely different when you know you are going to die.Makes sense to me.

I think I would. A year ago I attended this conference given by Carlios Paez the youngest survivor of the plane crash in Los Andes. It was shocking, but they had to do it in order to survive.
