Eley? Revy? Ley? Verey??

Good luck. Maybe Beverly is just one of those names that doesn't get a nickname for the actual name, but more of a nickname based on the personality of the Beverly.

Good luck!

My sister, Beverly, always went by "Bev". My kids, however, call her Aunt "Bevie". I usually called her Snot-nosed Brat, Crybaby Tattle-tale, or Chicken Butt Face. She was on the short side and her friends at school called her "Little Bit".

She grew up to be a hospital administrator and President of the School Board - but she's still Crybaby Tattle-tale to me!

I see the obvious Bev and Bevie. But I tend to look beyond that and I see Eve, Evie, Vera, Lia. I know some might not see it, but I love nicknames and I can make all sorts of combos. Nicknames don't always have to be so obvious.

Dancing Doctor, The -

Nickname of Dr. Beverly Howard-Crusher (Gates McFadden), the chief medical officer onboard the 24th century starship Enterprise-D on the sci-fi series STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION/SYN/1987-94. Her nickname first appeared on episode No. 85 "Data's Day" when Beverly offered to teach Data the android how to dance. She earned "The Dancing Doctor" moniker for winning a Tap & Jazz dance competition at a Saint Louis dance academy in her earlier days. Although proud of her dancing abilities, she avoided broadcasting her nickname to the crew. Gates McFadden began her career in New York City (she grew up in Ohio) as a stage actress and dancer and later as a director and choreographer

Many times Nicknames come from younger brothers or sisters or pet names from love ones. My grandmother use to call me, Sweet-Pea and my name has NOTHING to do with it. What about BEBE, BERRY, or BEE. Another interesting suggesting, taking her three initials, does it spell a word? Or use her middle name or make a nickname from her middle name.
