I'm going by ur name & guessing ur a fellow Indian. If you're referring to Hindi movies, watch anything by Madhur Bhandarkar....his films are not just bold, they're extremely hard-hitting and paint a shocking picture of the world around you. Vishal Bhardwaj's Omkara is also pretty bold, though an excellent film.
Among the English movies, the one film that just left me shell-shocked completely was Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. It's not bold in a sexual way, but its brutally realistic....an inspirational story for sure, bt if you watch it, brace yourself for some unbelievable violence. From a technical, film-making aspect, for me this movie has redefined all standards...brilliantly directed.
