Of course, that's easy.
just go to the avg website(www.grisoft.com) or avg free website (free.grisoft.com) click downloads and then click the avg antivirus and then click the ltest update. It will be saved as .BIN format.

To update your avg, right click avg at the notifiction area/sytem tray, then click update. Click folder and select where you placed your file(preferably you usb drive). If it says it has not seen any updates or whatsoever, just try again.

Yes, I have AVG on a CD disc. I can put that into any computer and then click for latest updates.

Of course i got it by download to Desktop, then made the burned the disc from there.

You certainly need AVG or some sort of virus protection at all times. Im assuming you also use InternetEXplorer, that uses windows software called ActiveX. Active exchange with other computers, Including the bad guys who plant viruses and trogans in your computer with Active X.

In mean time try to use FirefoxMozilla much as you can. That doesnt use ActiveX, thus viruses, trograns etc. cant function, Its much safer for that reason.

AVG protects your computer from viruses on the Internet. If you are not on the Internet you don't need it. You have a USB what?
