Suggestion - Use fabric softener. How hot is the water?

Wranglers are notorious for this, aren't they? I see all kinds of cowboys here in TX with creases ironed into their legs or rumply old legs...must depend on whether they are in the doghouse with their wives. hahhaha!

I would definitely try liquid fabric softener, as well as dryer sheets in the dryer. Downy ball makes liquid really easy to use, I always fill to the line and fill the rest with water to dilute it before it hits my clothes. You can use any brand. Downy ball means you don't have to catch the rinse cycle to use the product correctly.

You can also use white vinegar AS a fabric softener, with or without the ball. Especially with your new jeans, because the vinegar also sets the dye to help with bleeding onto other clothes. Still wash with darks until they are broken in more. Just fill the Downy ball up to the top with vinegar and toss in the washer when you start the load.

There is also wrinkle reducer spray. Downy makes it, dollar stores have their version of it, and I think you can make your own with about a tablespoon of liquid fabric softener in a quart spray bottle of distilled water. You use this by spraying down the fabric and then tugging out the wrinkles, they usually come out a little more but it isn't as crisp as ironing. It is for everyday straightening of rumpled clothes from sitting in a drawer etc.

You should try to catch the jeans immediately after the dryer stops, then hang or fold. Button them at the top, and match the side seams of each leg at the ankle to get a nice crease up the front. The button should be centered between the back beltloops. DON'T iron your jeans! It looks dumb, especially when they are creased and it starts to fade. Jeans are not supposed to look that fussy...just well cared for.

If you don't catch them right away, use your spray and/or run them back through the dryer with a wet towel, THEN catch them out of the dryer right away.

YEEHAW!

Take the jeans and turn them inside out and rewash.Use warm water, and plenty of fabric softener. Then dry about 20 minutes on cotton high heat. Then take them out and turn outside in and air dry or dry in the dryer, but watch that they are removed as soon as they dry, that's where the wrinkle came from.Always wash wrong side out. When dry and hot from dryer, put a crease in them if that's what you like.Love Wranglers on my man......

Wash in cold water and hang dry. I've been wearing Wranglers for years and never have wrinkles.
