This morning I found that for some reason my toilet tank isnt filling any longer with water and that also my kitchen sink is no longer letting out hot water. For the bathroom its weird because all the other faucets are working(bathtub, sink). And also in the kitchen the cold water in the sink is working. I thought it might be a frozen pipe, but that doesnt explain why the cold water in the kitchen is still working. Same goes for the bathroom. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Could be frozen in two places. The hot supply to the kitchen could run closer to an outside wall than the cold.

Debris in the lines could cause one hot (kitchen) and one cold (toilet) supply to fail. It would be weird, as you point out. The odds are pretty small. Try removing the stem from the kitchen valve, cleaning and replacing it. the fill valve at the toilet can be removed and inspected as well, but try opening and shutting the stop (the valve outside the toilet) a couple of times and see if that helps.

I don't know how the rooms and pipes are situated in your home so I cant say for sure.
Check your hot water heater first. If it is running normally, call out a plumber.

Don't rule out a frozen pipe yet - that would depend on how your plumbing is layed out and how susceptible they are to freezing. I don't know your layout but maybe you can see it.

It just depends how your pipes are routed. Still could be frozen pipes. It's February.

if the faucets are on a high floor perhaps the hot water pump is not working properly or the boiler is not working
