Its all about CSS coding. Heres the code for background.

A lot of times if you will look on one of your friends pages it will have some where on the page an advertisement of where they got there background. It will look like a regular advertisement but it will say something about backgrounds or layouts. click on it and once you find the one you want click on it and it will give you a code that you will copy and paste. then on your own myspace go to edit profile and in the box where it asks you to put in your interests just go a few lines under your own text and paste the code and click save changes. that should do it.

search 'myspace layouts' on yahoo, find 1 u like, and copy the html, then, paste the html in ur 'about me' area, u can access this area by going 2 'edit profile'

Find the layout or background that you want. Copy the code by right-clicking on it. Then go to your about me section and paste the code there then save it.
