I wear pads and this was the first time when I've had my period that when I was done going to the bathroom and wiping, there were these gooey blobs of what I think was blood. The size varied, sometimes smaller and sometimes pretty big. I have no clue if this is normal or not....any help would be great...thank you!!

Your shedding your uterian skin so to speak but if it continues too much too often,,there may be a problem so Id see a gyn as every woman needs one.Its best to be sure there is no serious problem because if you wait & there is ,,it can get worse.I can suggest taking vitamins such as one-a day brand because women need extra iron or you will become anemic.

Normal blood clots. If they seem excessive or your bleeding is very heavy see your doctor to make sure you are not getting anemic.

Clots are normal. You can take ibuprofen to reduce your flow.
