In philosophy (as well as in most religions) there is no "god of evil". Philosophy does pose questions about God and his existence, nature, etc. EVIL, however, is best defined as "a privation (or lack) of a GOOD which is due in a subject (person, place, thing). Thus, evil is not a "positive force" or a "person" but a LACK. When we say that something is evil, we mean that it lacks a goodness that it ought to have. Evil thus exists only in a negative sense, not a positive one. There must first be "being" (something that "is", like you, me, or a thing) before we can speak of its goodness or evil. A man who murders or robs is evil because he lacks justice, which is a moral good. In Christianity, the devil is evil because he promotes the perversion of good things (art, sex, authority, etc.). While this does not necessarily answer your question, I hope it helps.

are they they only two choices? good and evil? A vindictive god punishing those unworthy worshippers. Gotta consider their long-term spiritual development when sending plagues or destroying their cities with brimstone. Poor darlings, they have to learn!
