I can't get it to work, after years of it working...tried re-installing and everything....nothing in my settings on my puter has changed....just wondering...

Am on yahoo messenger now and have no problems.

What version do you have the 7.0 or the 8.0 of yahoo messenger I have been using it up until the 7.0 came out and stop using it just been a pain in the butt. Have you try to uninstall it from your computer and reinstalling it again. You could have spyware or a virus on your computer that might of change something on your computer was there anyone else using your computer or someone repairing your computer that might of change something in yahoo messenger.
