to everyone who has heard or read about Ryan O'Neal getting arrested this weekend, what do you think they should do? A) lock him up and throw away the key. B) fine and probation. C) let him go and give him a citizenship award for not shooting his son to just hurt him. (which by the way is what i would have done) and locking up his son. he has been in alot of trouble over the years and has only recieved slaps on the wrists, he needs to be locked up in a rough prison for a while. he sounds like a spoiled brat that needs to be taught that not everything is handed to you on a silver platter. What do you think?

The O'Neal clan ihas always been very dysfunctional. According to Tatum, back in the early to mid 60's Ryan let his two older kids (Tatum and Griffith) live in near abject poverty with their mother (Joanne something) while he was first making big as an actor. Also, a lot of drug abuse in the family.

I think him and Paris Hilton should be dropped off on a deserted island some where. Let them have/hate/torment each other for all eternity.

They'll all need lawyers, and then it will be sorted out in court. He's always been known for his terrible temper, though, so I tend to believe that he was the aggressor.
