The first day of my last period was on January 14th. I started taking birth control the day after which was a Monday and I doubled up because I had to pick my pills up. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex the whole time after my period and at the beginning of starting the pill. He came in me many times and I wasnt always consistant with the pill in the three weeks. I have had brown and reddish spotting for the last three days. I went to the Dr. today and took a test, it was negative but my period isnt due for another week. Can anyone advise me on what may be going on. Can I be preganant and it is just not showing up because it is too early?

Yes, this very well could be implantation bleeding. It is usually pretty light because it happens when the zygote burrows into the lining of your uterus. This happened to me a few days before my period was due, but can also happen around the time you expect your period (depending on how long it takes the zygote to travel to your uterus). I did not test positive on my pregnancy test until 6 days *after* I had the implantation bleeding. Best of luck!

It could just be a reaction to the new pills or it could be because you weren't consistent with taking them depending on how many days you missed or how often you ended up doubling up.

Go back in a week if you don't start but I think it would have shown up during the first test if you were.

It's really hard to say. Some women experience implantation bleeding, so it could be that. You'd probably have to wait a week or 2 and test again to be sure.

You might consider stopping the pill until you know for sure so that the hormones do not harm the baby, if there is one.

Implantation bleeding will not occur for so long. May be you got your period early this time. I think it is better to take a blood pregnancy test which will be accurate than urine test and will detect early if you are pregnant.

If it became into once you and DH BD then it could have got here from that as that has befell to me in the previous and it became into no longer an illustration of BFP or AF. you have some extra days left to be sure so i might in basic terms attempt and relax and wait till the top of the week and notice what happens.
