Depends on your age. The state, and county you live in and the Dr's. office policy. With that said. You can go to a planned parenthood or family planning clinic to get the care you need and they are very confidential and do not give out info to anyone with out your permission.

They are not obligated to tell your parents and won't UNLESS your parents pay for the visit or their insurance does, then they have a right to see what is in your records.

Just ask them not to document that you are sexually active and they can do that.

i have always heard that it is illegal for doctors to tell other people anything you tell them unless you threaten to harm someone or yourself. however, if you want to be 100% sure that they won't find out, you can go to a clinic like planned parenthood that does not tell your parents anything and won't even call your house unless you say they can.

If your parents ask they can tell. Sometimes they have seperate privacy policies, and usually they don't tell. However, they probably will never go right ahead and just tell them.
