Does it mean you are having a boy or a girl?? I always thought it was high for a girl but people keep telling me its the other way around. I carried my daughter high, and this one is high too. I know its only a wives tell, but I was just wondering.

I've always been told that high is a girl and low is a boy. I carried low with all 4 of mine and I have 2 girls 2 boys.

Ive heard its high for a girl and and low for a boy too, but as you already said that's just an old wives tale. i carried all different ways for all my 4 children. my last one, a boy i carried right in the middle. good luck to you no matter what.

You already know it, its just a wives tell. Whether you are carrying it high or low, it has nothing to do with the gender of your baby. Go get an ultrasound to determine whether its a boy or a girl. Modern technology has put an end to all these wives tale about pregnancy.

I carried low with my oldest daughter and high with my youngest! So go figure! When everyone say me for my oldest EVERYONE had bets it was a boy, NOPE! She's ALL girl! The one old wives tale the stood true, was, when it's a girl, the mother's body seems to spread around and out.(Bigger all over rather, than just in the tummy) When it's a boy, you just carry in your tummy. I think the whole "high" "low" thing has to do with which pregnancy you're on. For me, the 1st was really high (a boy), the second was really low (a girl) the third was just as low as the second (a boy). I'm sure everyone is different though.

I carried really high and had a girl. My best friend always carried low and she had three boys.

I carried my first high, she was a girl. I'm 24 weeks w/ #2 and carrying low and wide, she's a girl too!

I carried all three of my girls the same way -- low and out front.
Everyone swore up and down that i was having boys . Even total strangers. So ya never know, eh.

I know what they all say but I have 3 children and with my second EVERYBODY swore it was a boy even the doctors however it was a little girl. So you just can't tell.
