Its actually CHEMIOSMOSIS

a)Definition - Chemiosmosis is the diffusion of ions across a membrane. More specifically, it relates to the generation of ATP by the movement of hydrogen ions across a membrane.

b) Chemiosmosis in Plants
The Light reactions of photosynthesis generate energy by chemiosmosis. Chlorophyll loses an electron when energized by light. This electron travels down a photosynthetic electron transport chain ending on the high energy molecule NADPH. The electrochemical gradient generated across the thylakoid membrane drives the production of ATP by ATP Synthase. This process is known as photophosphorylation.

Chemiosmosis operates in photophosphorylation within a CHLOROPLAST in plants

C) The process by which ATP is produced in the inner membrane of a mitochondrion. The electron transport system transfers protons from the inner compartment to the outer; as the protons flow back to the inner compartment, the energy of their movement is used to add phosphate to ADP, forming ATP.

From the above you can get d)
