first of all i havent had a period since august 2006. but took a pregnancy test in oct. and came back neg. i took a pregnacy test on saturday and it was a very faint positive. then i went to the dr and she took my blood. but said they dont check for hcg levels, so i am not sure what she is doing with my blood but anyways that came back negative, so this morning i took a clearblue digital test and again came back pregnant. i have not had any discharge, blood or cramping. can anyone tell me what is going on? and which do i trust?

Wow, if you haven't had your period since August 2006 that would make you almost six months pregnant. That being the case you would definitely be showing and feeling the baby by now. I would go to a gynaecologist for a checkup to make sure that everything is OK.

Home pregnancy tests rarely have false positives (though there are conditions which can cause the body to produce HCG while not pregnant...you'd need to see a doc right away). Chances are though that you are pregnant.

I don't know what your doc was doing w/ your blood either. If she didn't do an HCG test (either qualitatiave or quantitative), then she can't say whether or not you are pregnant.

Even though you haven't had a cycle since last year, you could still have ovulated a couple of weeks ago and conceived.

You definitely need to see a doc and get an HCG and an exam to confirm pregnancy or figure out what is going on.

Good luck

I had 3 positive home pregnancy tests, but my blood tests kept comming back inconclusive. I was 8 weeks along before the blood test showed up + (a month later)

If I were you, I would demand an ultrasound. This way you will know for sure. Don't let these people jerk you around.

You are pregnant. Sometimes the blood tests are inaccurate. I had a blood test done that was negative for hCg, took a home test the next day that was positive! False positives on home tests are VERY rare.

if you havent had a period since august 2006 that will mean that your about 6 months (if you are pregnant) you would know if your are because you will feel the baby moving and stuff but you should go to a doctor because it could be something else wrong

If you normally have normal period cycles, everymonth, prior to August then, there is something going on with your body. But if you are now 6 months or so, you would know if you were pregnant. Get an ultra sound asap. Good Luck!

Well not having a period can mean sevral things:
-preganacy
-caner
-low weight
-diabeties

I would say you are pregnant, but have blood drawn for diabeties unless you start showing or have morning sickness. Best of luck, wichever side your hoping for!

pregnancy tests are occasionally false positives but it is a rarity, i feel like your physician was wrong b/c blood does test for hcg levels, i agree that you should see a different doctor and soon

False positives on HPTs are very rare. Go to a different doctor.

i think you could be pregent but you should proably go to a diffeernt docotor and maybe bring them the tests you took. if that doctors can not do nothing about it go to a next one until they know whats wrong.
