I am depressed and with OCD(slightly) and I don't know what to do to feel better, and I'm not sure if that decision it what I want. I feel as if no one understands me, and often find it hard to express my feelings. I cry a lot. The only thing I am good at I feel are worthless, I can sing so well, and I am superior in school. The only thing I really want in life is to become a famous singer, and I know it will be hard, and I don't know what I am capable of doing if I don't feel I will be reaching that goal of a singing career.

There's no hope left. I'll be at peace. No one had anything to do with this. My decision totally.

I've been there and, believe me, there is a light at the end of the tunnel with treatment and therapy. See a doctor as soon as possible. There's nothing to be ashamed of.

I know it may seem as the only answer, it did so for me and how easy it would be to end the pain, but before you consider harming yourself, call 1-800-SUICIDE.

If you wish, I'd be more than happy to talk about my experience.

Go see a Dr. You want things in life that Few can obtain. Being able to sing well will not make you a star. Lots of people have a beautiful voice and are able to sing better than a lot of stars. What gets you famous and into a singing career is knowing the right people. No one is discovered by singing in the shower or at hometown theaters. If you have the money you could hire someone to promote you, but that doesn"t guarantee you"ll be a success. Wake up!!

we all feel depressed sometimes & it sucks to be that way. your life is precious & you wanting to be a famous singer someday is a goal in your life. If you feel that's the only thing in this world that makes you happy, then why don't you keep practicing your singing every time you get depressed? Life is about learning through hardships & struggles, knowing what route you want to end up is a start to changing how you look at life for the better. Try doing things you enjoy every time you feel down, you should find friends who are looking at the same stars as you. You need to surround yourself with people who can inspire you to become the person you see yourself in the future. Only YOU can make things happen, with the help & support of the ones you love, including YOURSELF. just know that no matter what obstacles in life you may encounter, YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE CAPABLE OF MAKING THINGS HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE. try your hardest to ignore the depression by keeping yourself BUSY & doing the things you love during your spare time. Life is precious, it's your gift from god, he gave it to you so you can do something with it, NOT END IT.

You know music is a art. Just like writing, artwork, acting. Most artist tend to have some sort of mental disorder. Look at shakespear he was a pedifile, Van gouh depression, kurt cobain depression, Jim carrey suffers from deppresion. Most of these people didnt use their illness as they could of. Its away of touching a space that most people cant. I have suffred with it for 12 years. I write. To me i can express my thoghts this way. Singing and songwriting give you such an oppurtunity to express yourself. So what if you never become famous its so wonderufl to be able to express you self in a postive way. I now your like whatver right now but i been were you were. I attempted sucide twice thank GOD i failed both times. I would have never known life could have been so good. First of you need to get all the negitivity out of your life and start living in a poistve manner. Find ways to feel happy read, express yourself and write songs, sing, do whatever makes you forget. We as humans deal with emotion and pain. Some of the greatest pain i the world. but nothign is worth taking your life.

Hun i can relate. If you need to talk email me. Im a survivor of child abuse, sexual assalt, domestic abuse, and my dad died a few years ago. Its been a hard hard life. BUT I LOVE IT. Just because i have found ways to be happy. YOu just need to tune into yours. !!!! take care and feel free to email if you want to talk. I truley understand. And ill tell you another thing. ITs no fun to puke up pills all nite or have to be patched up after sliting your wrist then doing time in a mental hosptial. ITs LIKE JAIL. Just think about it all before you do anything,

I think you need to take baby steps and make some short-range goals as well as long-range. That way you will experience more accomplishments and feel better about yourself. There is so much out there to do and to learn, take it on. You might start with writing your life story, there are lots of revelations in that.

Also, you need to laugh and have a good sense of humor, it makes everything easier. Learn to laugh at your mistakes and move on. Also - stay busy and active so you don't dwell on hardships. TALK, TALK, TALK - Talking is therapy.

Good Luck.

Don't you step one foot inside an accursed doctor's office. You listen- life is more than breathing, being, singing:), among other time consuming things. The only answer here is God. Turn to him in your time of need and you will be blessed beyond comprehension. If you don't believe me, that's because you've never had the experience. Like they say, "if you haven't seen it, you don't know it, but if you know it, you've already seen it". So read the bible, give your life to Jesus, and you will be saved my brother.
