If you are referring to intercepting data each computer sends, then yes.

I believe you would have to use ARP poisoning to fool the router into sending the data to the wrong computer, but a simple program like Cain can do that.

It depends how secure both computers are, like if they have firewalls installed or not. It also depends a little on the network settings in the router. To spy like monitor, one computer would need to have a program that allows people to view your screen from a differnet location. Look into "trojans" if you want to spy on someone. But be careful, cus some can't be trusted and may open you up to someone esle who made it.

only the shared files can be looked at by another computer
but why not just go to that other computer and look yourself?
