if u buy a cell phone, do your phone number be in the box?

I'm thinking of buying a cheap prepaid t moblie cell phone...
I never had a cell phone before so I was wondering...
if I buy it..when do I get my phone number? will it be inside or on the box?

When u but the phone, you program the sim card which is a chip in the phone then it will give you your #. It will not be in or on the box. After you program the sim card, You turn the phone on and look at my information and then look at my #. Your cell # should be there

I bought a Verizon Wireless prepaid it did. Not common thought. You usually get it during registration.
