Well when mum and dad used to go away and take the house key with them my brother and I used to scale the water tank and get onto the roof of the 1st storey and through the second storey window - they could never figure out how we used to get in!! LOL the good old days

Clap my hands so that the key locator will go off. I have a big habit of not putting them where I can find them again.

I call my mom (I am 34 by the way) and say, "Hey, I did it again." She a copy of every one of my keys.
Well it works out ok and it is not like I get put in time out or lose my key privileges.

Panic, use bad language,
I have spare keys to almost every door.
Alternatively I just have to call Locksmith

Resort to asking someone if they have seen my keys, usually after I do that, I turn around and I see them.

Best thing to do, and this is my Mom's advise, is walk away for a minute,,,do something else,,,then go back and retrace your steps.
Something about putting it OUT of your mind really helps.

Keep looking and it will be found somewhere. It always shows up. Haven't had to call the locksmith yet.
