shou;dn't have got it pierced. all piercing and tattoos are scars on an already perfect human body.

the barbell they use for the initial piercing is LONGER than a normal belly ring for the simple fact that if the piercing swells it wont be too tight on the bar. DO NOT put another belly ring in until the required time that the piercer told you it could cause infections. also when you DO first change it you might only be able to wear the new one for a few hours.... also try not to buy the cheap belly rings liike walmart sells the metal is cheap and can cause problems ... try to buy ONLY silver, gold, surgical steel, and titanium.. these wont cause problems as much... also make sure you are following after care instructions, bactine is a good thing to use to help it heal and kill the germs... it WILL get sore for a few days and the skin above and below may bruise from the clamp used for the piercing but this is normal.... also you CAN get cheap good quality belly rings you just need to look around.... hope this helps good luck

Everyone's got a different shaped belly button. I would say therefore that piercings will not look equal on everyone. Belly buttons are cute and sexy without holes in them. It's just distracting, in my humble opinion. Worst piercing is the eyebrow. I keep thinking the person has a crumb of food up there or something.

I have mine done also. If you've just had it done you need to wait for it to heal so the swelling will go down. To help it heal faster use a little salt water OR peroxide. Alcohol would help dry it up but it stings like crazy! Either of these will also help prevent infection. If you don't think it looks right go to a different parlor and ask their opinion BEFORE it heals. That way if it wasn't done right the first time you can have it done again if you want ;)

you probably shouldve thought about that BEFORE you put another hole in your body

now that its there tho, try getting one of those cute dangly ones instead of a barbell
