I happen to have some Bosch Cordless tools, and many other brands. I use DeWalt 12 volts often, as they are handy, lighter weight, and I keep multiple batteries charging.

I relaize the more popular now are 18 volt or even 14.5 but I'm OK with mine. The issue is that a 12 volt truly is more appropriate for lighter duty work. That said however, and without knowing the extent you intend as a commercial tool, the 18's likely won't keep a charge and/or be any more effective for any longer a time span that a 12, or others.

By the way, even on a commercial job, I always have a corded drill for long term use.

its garbage, get a dewalt xrp or spend the extra couple of bucks and get the new hitachi, its faster lighter and more durable than all the others, hitachi used to be bad, but i tried my friends 18 volt the other day and it outperformed my 18 volt xrp dewalt, and my 18 volt rigid, so if you are looking for a good drill check those out, also panasonic makes a smooth fast strong drill i couldnt leave that one out and stay away ryobi its the worst!!

12 volt is only good for domestic work, if you want something for professional work 18 volt or 24 volt

12 volt bosh...not professional to me it would be a waste of my money. I'm a power junkie so I go for the 36 volt. Hitachi should be coming out with one soon so I'm waiting on Hitachi.

dewalt is overpriced.
look at the black decker site for the 20v putting out 300+ torque ~ $120 with 2 batteries included.
