Remember that Stomp the Yard is about a particular tradition in black American culture, so it's rather fitting that the movie features mostly black actors. Movies about traditions in other cultures, such as country music, rodeos, etc. often feature casts made up predominately of people from that culture.

I really enjoyed that movie. It's my favorite movie so far. The only down part about it is when Chris dies. But the rest of the movie had me laughing "Pythons!" sssssss....

I think it all depends on who you are and definently what era you're from...Personally being a 16 yr old. I was quiet fond of the dancing and music...Now I know my mother at 35 wouldn't care for it. So it all depends. But Two thumbs up from me.
