He doesn't cry just wines...He is teething and I don't know if that is why he is more fussy then normal. What did other mothers experience when there child(ren) were teething?

I had the same problem! My baby didn't like anything... except to be held! hehe... and also she enjoyed being in her high chair in the kitchen, if I was doing the dishes or cooking. I'd keep her next to me in her infant car seat, all day I'd carry her around the house, and at night she was content enough to go to sleep byherself...
she was teething, and I'd give her teething tablets, Tylenol (ask the pediatrician), let her chew on a special teether that's not hard when it's frozen, rub her gums with my finger, and put Oragel at night. All this helped a lot.

I hope you find these tips helpful, good luck!

My son does everything early and he actually started to have a little separation anxiety around 5 months old. Your baby may be sensing that you're about to leave the room when you put him down. If he is teething, that will definitely make him fussy all day.

A general fussiness can accompany teething. Although I also remember at 5 months that my son always had to either be in my arms or directly beside me. I couldn't get anything done, no dishes, no cleaning...nothing. I found the only thing that kept him busy, and that was only momentarily, was the swing or exercauser. I found it helpful to also go for walks (if it's nice outside), or to join a mommy-and-me group, he loved the interaction with other babies. Be patient, this is hopefully a phase.

Teething is very hard on them. See if he'll gnaw on a really cold wet washcloth to help numb the pain. Mine loves ice but it has to be shaved into pretty small pieces. Some say those teething tablets helped but I didn't notice any improvement when I tried them. Tylenol works too and when he's over 6 months he can have motrin.

have you tried putting something on his gums to help with the teething? Also, does he cry if you are holding him, if so he could be just a little bit spoiled! try just letting him cry for awhile before picking him up if you know that he is not humgry or wet. Eventually he will grow out of this stage, trust me i have been there done that my kids are now ages 7 and 12 and i would do anything to have them be babies again and need me more than they seem to now

Your child will be fussy, you need to get some orajel for his mouth to soothe the pain. you can also try those teething ring, freeze them, they love those, then put him in the swing, or if you don't want to freeze them just chill it in the fridge, you will be fine.

my children are clingy but especially during teething or sickness..
its their way of saying mommy i dont want to leave you it hurts and i need your help.....

or it could be just clingness try.... floor play with your son.... that way you dont have to hold him but your close to him..

i suggest the baby orajel and nighttime for bed..... and a teething ring but if you dont have a teething ring put a toy in the freezer for a little bit..... all my kids loved cows because the horns became a favorite teether...
good luck and hang in there.

More than likely that is why he's fussing all the time. They sometimes have fevers and diarea when they're teething also.
